Hatch Baby Listen
When can I start using Listen to hear my baby's heart beat?

However, when using Listen, we recommend that you use it in short intervals following the first trimester.
How does Listen work?
The Listen transducer sends high frequency sound waves into the body. It then receives the reflected sound waves and uses the Doppler effect concept to calculate the changes in frequency and provides an audible simulation of the heartbeat. Fetal dopplers have been around for many decades and no adverse effects have been reported from their use.
Does Listen measure fetal heart rate? What should the fetal heart rate be?
